HERMITAGE - Gardener House

HERMITAGE

Hermitage is an antique gardener house from XIX century, located in Lasek Wolski (Wolski Forest), not so far form the center of Krakow.

From the beginning it belongs to one family. Years after war it was a Roman Hussarski's workshop. He was an artist - writer and sculptor - and the Hermitage was a meeting place for many famous people such as Stanislaw Lem, a friend of the family.

Now Hermitage has been renovated and still got its unique character. It seems to be a perfect place to relax for two people. It can be also a great opportunity to contemplate and to be in contact with nature.

Furthermore, it's a very good base for visiting historical Krakow and also for making lots of trips (even on bicycle) to places like: Wolski Forest, Pilsudzki's Mound, Kosciuszko's Mound, Kamedul's Monastery, Benedictine Monastery in Tyniec and many others.
